Inverness Gym FAQ's

DM Elite Inverness is a coach-led gym for people who want more support, structure and accountability than a traditional gym membership.

Rather than arriving and deciding what to do yourself, members book into structured 50-minute training sessions that are planned and led by professional coaches.

DM Elite specialises in Small Group Personal Training, meaning you train alongside other people while still receiving individual coaching, technique guidance and exercise adaptations.

It’s designed for people who want the benefits of a gym without having to figure everything out on their own.

DM Elite provides personal training through a Small Group Personal Training model at its Inverness gym.

Rather than paying for a personal trainer exclusively for one-to-one sessions, DM Elite members train in small groups while receiving professional coaching, technique guidance and individual exercise adaptations for busy people that need flexibility in their schedules.

This provides many of the benefits people look for from personal training — coaching, structure, accountability and progression — alongside the motivation and community of training with other people.

Yes. DM Elite Inverness works with adults across a wide range of ages, including many people in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.

Training has a strong emphasis on strength alongside fitness and movement, helping members build and maintain muscle, become stronger and continue feeling physically capable as they get older.

You don’t need previous gym experience or a particular level of fitness before starting.

You don’t need to get fit before joining a gym.

DM Elite Inverness works with people returning to exercise after months or even years away. Coaches can adapt exercises, resistance and intensity to your current ability and gradually progress your training as your strength, fitness and confidence improve.

The aim isn’t to keep up with somebody who has trained for years. It’s to start at the right level for you and build from there.

DM Elite Inverness provides coach-led strength training for complete beginners as part of its training programme.

You don’t need to know how to lift weights, choose exercises or use gym equipment before starting. Coaches demonstrate exercises, help with technique and select appropriate variations and resistance for each individual.

As you become stronger and more confident, your training can progress with you.

DM Elite describes itself as “the gym for people who don’t like gyms.”

The Inverness gym is designed for people who want to become stronger and fitter but don’t necessarily enjoy the traditional experience of walking into a busy gym and training alone.

Sessions are booked in advance, planned and coach-led. Members train alongside familiar faces, with coaches available throughout the session.

The focus is on making exercise something people can enjoy and sustain rather than something they feel they should be doing.

Yes. DM Elite’s Small Group Personal Training model provides professional coaching without requiring every session to be one-to-one.

Members train alongside a small group while still receiving individual guidance, exercise adaptations and coaching.

The average DM Elite membership works out at around £14 per coached session when training three times per week, compared with approximately £40–£50 for a typical one-to-one personal training session.

DM Elite Inverness is designed to make starting or returning to exercise feel less intimidating.

Members aren’t expected to already be fit, know how to use gym equipment or understand which exercises they should be doing.

Every session is led by a coach, and people with different abilities and experience levels can train alongside one another.

For someone who has previously felt uncomfortable in a traditional gym, the combination of coaching, structure and community can make getting started much more approachable.
