Gymtimidation is real
As the article below suggest
As many as 1 in every 3 British people (out of 3000 18-60 years old people surveyed)
Are terrified about joining a gym
I have to be honest
It’s why I never worked in one before, I felt a bit ‘put off’
So, when the chance came around to create our own thing cropped up
It appealed to me because I knew there were LOTS of people that were scared to go to the gym
Not just that
Weren’t motivated
Didn’t know what to do or how to do it
Went through the motions a bit
…end up going 4/5 times then don’t go for months on end
I knew we had to reverse that to stand a chance and get anywhere
No mirrors
Lots of like-minded people that valued health, fitness but didn’t like the whole ‘gym’ thing
A safe space and environment where people knew everyone else was there to do their best without the ego
Where the person attending wanted to connect with other people and be part of something bigger than themselves
Essentially
A gym for people that did not like ‘gyms’
That kinda stuck
…and here we are
Here’s what 2 clients had to say about their experience with us to date, not being natural lovers of the Gym:
